Ingredients
Fresh Mozzarella (the real stuff that comes in water)
Those oblong tomatoes that are a bit longer then cherry tomatoes
Prosciutto Crudo
Oil
Method
Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella
Drizzle the tomatoes with olive oil
Stack tomato mozzarella tomato mozzarella
Wrap in prosciutto
Secure with toothpick
Serve
OR*
Bake in oven for 5-10 minutes at 400F (desired doneness)
Optional sprinkle of brown sugar on top if you want
I prefer baking to get the flavors to blend unless you're going for something fresh early in the day
Tomatoes, prosciutto, mozzarella, oil, and toothpicks
Slice tomatoes and drizzle with oil.
Slice mozzarella into stackable pieces with the tomatoes
Stack every other tomato and cheese and wrap with prosciutto. Secure with toothpick. Ready to serve cold at this point
Optional to add a sprinkle of brown sugar at this point. But place your towers into a baking dish and bake in a pre heated oven at 400F for 5-10 minutes
Allow to cool and enjoy
